Jennifer Weinstein is a dynamic global human resources leader with extensive expertise in the strategy, design, delivery, communication and management of all aspects of employee benefits programs. She has led benefits for Fortune 100 companies for over twenty-years, and has received several notable awards for her work, including being an Employee Benefit News’ 2026 Excellence in Benefits Award winner, and a 2025 Top Women In Grocery Honoree as a winner in the senior-level executive category. Jennifer is always in pursuit of doing everything better by being creative in thought and action and she is passionate about improving the lives of employees and their families.
In June 2026, Jennifer published her first book Benefits Burnout: How to (fall) back in love with your employee benefits career. Jennifer was inspired to write about a topic that many discuss behind closed doors, but do not discuss in public. She hopes this book allows an industry experiencing unprecedented change due to increasing cost pressures, healthcare consolidation, and more, to talk openly about the burnout being felt by so many before it’s too late.
Jennifer is currently VP Benefits at Albertsons Companies, where she leads health and welfare, retirement, and time away from work benefits, and the associate experience center. She has the amazing privilege of helping associates and their families when they need care the most through the benefits she creates.
Benefits leaders have spent the last several years navigating rising healthcare costs, evolving employee expectations, increasing regulatory complexity, and a growing number of point solutions—all while serving as the front line for employee well-being. Yet the well-being of benefits professionals themselves is rarely discussed. This session explores the causes and consequences of burnout within the benefits function and examines practical strategies for building resilience, setting boundaries, and sustaining impact in an increasingly demanding role.
